Healing the Gerson Way!

Have you ever given a thought why people admire Dr Max Gerson, M.D., and his work, the alternative treatment to cure cancer?
Max Gerson was born in the German city Wongrowitz, in the year 1881. After completing his medical studies in the year, he contributed to several discoveries in the medical science.

Self Experiments & Finding the Cure for Tuberculosis
Dr. Gerson suffered from Migraine, which is still an epidemic in some parts of the globe. To cure his severe migraine headache, in the decade of 1920s, he started diet-experimentation therapies on himself, and some of his patients. Soon after a few doses, a patient, who was suffering from skin-tuberculosis, claimed that his diet experiment had cured his incurable disease.
Tuberculosis, at that point of time, was an untreatable and inoperable disease. His researches and experimentation cleared his goal, and he emphasized on diet in his study. After this significant discovery, Max Gerson treated many of his tuberculosis patients.
Joining hands with renowned Doctors and Surgeons
During his research, Dr. Gerson came close with Ferdinand Sauerbruch, M.D., who was a reputable thoracic surgeon of his time, under whose supervision, he theorized many tuberculosis treatment programs; and Nobel Prize winner Dr. Albert Schweitzer, M.D, whose wife was suffering from TB in Lungs, and Gerson healed her wife with his dietary program. Sauerbruch wrote articles in many journals mentioning Gerson’s treatment as the ‘first cure for skin tuberculosis’.
Under the supervision of such eminent personalities, Dr. Max Gerson successfully presented his diet therapy to heart diseases, kidney failures, and Cancer.

Dr. Gerson presented a theory that signified that most of the chronic diseases are caused by weak immune system. To cure and repair the damaged and weakened immune system, one needs to quite unhealthy foods and lifestyle, and follow a healthy diet plan, suggested in the Gerson Therapy.
Moving to New York
“In the year 1938, Dr. Gerson received license for practicing in the state of New York, where he successfully treated hundreds of cancer and tuberculosis patients, who had no hopes left for further treatment.

A number of journals, articles, books, and websites have been published and distributed on the life and works of Dr. Max Gerson. He himself had published a book, in 1958, A Cancer Therapy: Result of Fifty Cases.
